Barwikowski outlined ambitious plans to scale the Pixels ecosystem to one million daily active users while also maintaining economic sustainability.</p><p>During the AMA, Barwikowski highlighted that the GameFi space hasn't been excited about Web3 gaming since "around the time of the&nbsp;<a href="https://funjible.games/games/Pixels">Pixels</a> TGE." The Pixels founder expressed that they needed to figure out how to reach the next level, where the ecosystem can achieve one million active daily users.</p><h2>October for Pixels Chapter 3 is Still a Go</h2><p>As per the last Pixels AMAs, Chapter 3 remains on track for an October release. Finer polishes and user experience-focused tweaks will ultimately decide the final launch date. This upcoming chapter for Pixels will focus on creating a more sustainable and competitive gameplay experience rather than a system with guaranteed winnings.</p><p>"If everyone wins all the time, the game won't ever be sustainable," Barwikowski explained. “If we want something that'll be around for a long time, we need to make the game sustainable and scale that net burn.”</p><p>Chapter 3 introduces competitive elements where winning factions receive significant rewards while others may earn nothing. This could reduce the sell pressure on the primary token.</p><p>Pixels also continues its efforts to onboard more players, and the Pet App will be a crucial step toward that goal. The standalone Pixels Pet App is expected to launch before October. This app is designed to attract Web2 audiences without guaranteed crypto earnings. The app will integrate with the offer system to experiment with converting traditional gamers to crypto-earning experiences.</p><p>Barwikowski also discussed the challenges of building a Web3 game, highlighting how player behavior changes when real-money components are introduced. "Even if you make a fun game, then add Web3 to it, that's not the way to do it", the Pixels founder said. “Web3 games are real money games. We're adding real money into the core loop of the game.
