5 Mobile Games That Actually Respect Your Time in 2026

<p>Shrapnel confirmed its GalaChain migration timeline on Dec. 29. The developers announced a complete service shutdown from Jan. 1 through Feb. 1. Gala Games previously partnered with China's Trusted Copyright Chain in Aug. 2025, and this partnership would position Shrapnel to reach over 600 million Chinese gamers.</p><p>The switch also brings SHRAP tokens onto GalaChain while making GALA the primary gas fee token across the ecosystem.</p><p>Overall, the migration has drawn mixed reactions from Shrapnel’s community. While the temporary shutdown period is much longer than gamers are used to, the migration could help Shrapnel attract new players in new regions. Shrapnel Starts GalaChain Migration in January 2026

<p>Ubisoft took Rainbow Six Siege offline on Dec. 27 following a security breach that gave players access to roughly two billion R6 Credits. The same breach also unlocked every cosmetic item in the game while also affecting player moderation tools.</p><p>R6 players started reporting unusual activity throughout the weekend as arbitrary account bans became noticeable. There were fake moderation messages and sudden inventory changes, too, before the mass distribution of premium currency.</p><h2>What happened during the Rainbow Six Siege breach?</h2><p>The Rainbow Six Siege breach gave third parties unauthorized access to Ubisoft's internal game management systems. While some accounts were randomly banned, many others received millions in premium currency.</p><p>Fake ban notifications appeared in the game's moderation ticker, displaying messages unrelated to actual player behavior. In the meantime, Ubisoft announced that players wouldn't face penalties for spending the premium currencies, but all transactions completed after 11:00 AM UTC would be reversed. Ubisoft may also decide to thoroughly investigate the incident and take the responsible parties to court, as the outage might be highly costly to the developer.</p><p>Rainbow Six Siege servers remain offline as of Dec. 29, with Ubisoft working to restore services while implementing security measures. It’s currently unknown whether the exploit may extend deeper into Ubisoft's infrastructure.</p><p>Luckily, account security remains stable according to Ubisoft's statements. The breach targeted game systems rather than player credentials or personal information. All technicalities aside, the fact that Rainbow Six Siege had to remain online for days has been the most significant blow for the player base.</p><p>R6 has one of the most dedicated player bases in the gaming world, and most had to switch to other games until Rainbow Six’s servers came back. Considering many titles are currently hosting winter and holiday-themed events, like&nbsp;<a href="https://funjible.games/news/anichess-launch-winter-clash-as-illuvium-merge-ranked-queues">Anichess’ Winter Clash</a>, those waiting should enjoy some festive fun elsewhere before returning to their main game.
